Carrie Newenham, Family Advocate, DeSoto – Carrie is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Missouri Baptist College. She has been with the CACECM since it opened its door in 2000. Prior to becoming a Family Advocate, Carrie worked in human services. She is married and has one daughter. Her hobbies are spending time with her family, riding four wheelers, fishing, and playing golf. Prior to joining the CACECM, she has worked in a medical office, insurance company and Boys & Girls Town of Missouri. She is married with three beautiful children. Her hobbies are learning to play golf, enjoying a good massage and spending time with her family and friends. Kathy plans on going back to school to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. Before joining the CACECM in September 2006, she has worked in commercial and credit management services. She enjoys spending time with her two children. When Deanna is not running them to sports, her hobbies are scrapbooking, playing golf with friends and watching football. Email: dryan@comtrea.org Sarah Nowak, Mental Health Coordinator & Extended Evaluation Specialist, DeSoto & Sullivan Sarah has a BS in Psychology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, a MS in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University, St. Louis and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She joined the CACECM in October 2006. Prior to coming to the CACECM, Sarah worked as a Liasion between Children’s Division and the Juvenile Office in Franklin County. She is married to an exceptional Carpenter and they had their first child in February 2009. In her down time, she helps out her family who own 3 Bridges Raft Rental in Sullivan and Jimmy John’s in Washington. Sarah also likes to spend time with her husband, scrapbooking and playing Dartball. Before joining the CACECM in August 2007, she worked as an Investigator for three years with the Jefferson County Children’s Division. She bought her first home with her boyfriend, Earnie, in July 2007. They reside in High Ridge with Earnie’s daughter and their two cats, Minnie and Milo.
